I've never paid $70 for a baby Gorilla, but $30 for one is pretty dang decent. They have a bunch more than these on sale... this is a partial of what I was e-mailed.

The King Kongs are good stands. Nice sized platform and a big seat. Those are the stands I use, great prices.

Shipping on stands is always heinous, since they're so dang heavy.
I ordered my blind from them, and it wasn't too bad. i got a LARGE 2 person hub-blind for about $65 or $70, including shipping. Finally, after 4 years of constant use, it's about in need of retirement, but I'll probably use it until it falls apart. Was one of the best $70 purchases I ever made.

And then beat him to death with it.
I'll NEVER buy a DB... waaay too expensive, and I think overrated. I'll at most pay $150 for one, but no way in hell I'm dropping on a blind what I would on a new pistol or rifle....

DB blinds aren't that bad price wise. I think the last rifle I bought was right at 2500 without a scope and the last pistol I bought was right at 1k.

Mangler, well, I guess you have a bit more disposable income than some of us!
I paid $459ish for my .270, and my scope ($200 Burris) was a gift from my dad.
I'd love to buy a Springfield XD 45, and those are in the $500 range, if memory serves. That will probably by my big firearms/hunting purchase for the year next year.
I use the hell out of my pop-up, and it's yet to let me down! I can buy a lot of Sportsman's Guide pop-ups for the cost of one DB....

I was hoping.....it's hard finding branches to sit on otherwise with a single side-branch poking up, and I hate to ruin the nice padded seats on stands with "aftermarket modifications"

I doubt anything will come of it....
I've had RK, Andy and Doc made aware of things and nothing seems to have developed from those conversations...

PM on AT, not via phone... I have little desire to talk to them on the phone. For the time being, 69 Coronet is active, which is cool, but let's see how long it lasts...
