Help me out!
What broadhead flys the best The montecs or the G5 strikers???? Thinking about trying some this year but wanted to get the best buy! So which ones fly "true" OR just like my field points?? I have heard alot of good thing s about both, but cant make my mind up!

I shot the Montecs and they were dead on with my field points. But I hear the Strikers are just as good, some people like their flight even better. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Re: Help me out!
Either ones really, it's a preference if you want replaceable blades or re-sharpable blades. IF your bow is in-tune, the Montecs or Strikers are the way to go IMHO.

Darn right I am!
What's not to love? I'm still shooting the same three heads from two years ago, five dead deer later, and STILL going in the quiver for next year! Best $35 spent on archery supplies right there!
(is that too fan-boyish?)

Re: Help me out!
I got a friend that went 5 for 5 with the montecs this year. They def look cool...have you seen the new black ones? With the right tool they resharpen fast...very nice. My only concern would be mushrooming tips.
I use the 'hardened steel' STs and the tips dont hold up well imo. I grind'em back some and pop replacement blades in and they still zip through deer np.

Re: Help me out!
yeah, I heard the G's mushroom .
J/K no eveidense was ever provided, that poor kid got flamed bad.
I like the idea or replasable blades, G5 strickers I think are the ones that offer that.

Yeah, that thread was bogus, and I did my best to flame away.......troll IMHO

Re: Help me out!
Oh stop with the "knock down" power stuff. when I shoot the target now it shakes pretty good. does it need to shake more?
No, I dont think so. I'm not gonna give up 15 grains for that.
