THanks guys. I have to admit I was a bit concerned about the adjustment to binaries/wheels.
After shooting the bow for a few days, it gets easier and easier. Its a smooth bow I don't see myself shooting anything else.

what bow did you have before and what cams did it have?
Just wondering about the "getting adjusted" to the binary cam.
Killer looking rig!!

So then if you would, what's your personal take on comparing the solocams to the binary cams? Just curious what your opinion on them is.
Re: My GTO
SS- To be completely honest with you I dont see much of a difference in the draw cycle at all. The 60# GTO shoots like my switchback at 67 #.
Someone pegged the draw cycle of the GTO when they said you feel the weight of the draw all the back, just until it rolls over very smoothly into a rock solid backwall.
My take?
Why shoot more pounds for less speed and less KE?
I'm almost 100% positive Iam done with Solocams for good. As long as Elite keeps producing bows similar to the GTO then I will buy their bows.
As far as the tuning aspect goes, I'm glad to have someone as knowledgeable as Michael to tune it for me and make it smoother.
IMO there is a pretty significant difference between a Bowtech binary and a solocam. Shoot the XT or drenalin againt a 101st. Then shoot the 101st against the XT or Drenalin and the GTO. I think theres a difference and the GTO is somewhere right in the middle of it.

Re: My GTO
What you explained is pretty much my take on them as well. Just wanted to hear another opinion.
Other than the Synergy that has next to no valley, I thought the Elite line shot very well. I need a little valley. ha, ha

Re: My GTO
The Valley can be adjusted on any Binary bow, but this can also affect your let-off!

Re: My GTO
All that stuff is over my head. The one that I shot at the shop.....dang! I crept a tiny pube hair and that biatch wanted to go!!!!
Re: My GTO
The draw on the GTO is about as good as it gets. Sure the slow cam bows are easier by a touch to draw. By easier I mean drawing a 70lb Ross, for example, feels like drawing 65lbs, drawing a 70lb GTO feels, well, like drawing 70lbs. But the downside to the slow cams for me is I tend to get sloppy when shooting them. I hate the spongy back wall, and the large valley. Like I said it made me sloppy in my form and less consistent. The GTO feels like 70lb all the way back. Very smooth. Then it just kinda stops into a VERY solid backwall. There is no deep drop into the valley, or hard rollover. Now, like Stump said there is no valley, but I like it that way with the hard backwall. Just keep pulling until you release. It's almost like shooting a recurve bow if it had let-off if that makes any sense. Great bows. Sure glad I picked one up.
Re: My GTO
I was never able to shoot the GTO as the shop didn't have any.
But is the valley like Synergy then?
All I can really compare things is what I know in my tribute, which for me is about as good as it gets. It's a binary so it's going to draw a touch tough(compared to a solocam), but drops off real nice into the valley and back into a solid wall. Nubbs can attest to what I'm talking about.

Trust me pat, I wanted to keep my Tribute, I liked it THAT much, but after shooting the GTO and Fire a couple times.....it really became a no brainer for me.
IT's SMOOTH! The Envy actually drew like an Allegiance or Tribute. The GTO is in a class of it's own, and just wait until the '09's hit!

Re: My GTO
Sorry, I'm not well versed with the Bowtech abbrevs.
I just saw that it was a "Tribby"
Only thing I know is "Switchy" and "dren"
Elites names are already short enough no "abbrevs." necessary.
