FINALLY getting my DXT!
Well, as you guys know, I've had a lot of financial difficulty lately... or should I say, financial difficulty brought on my vehicle difficulty (Down to one vehicle for the forseeable future, since I can't afford to get the motor replaced in my car... over $2000 for everything). Anyway, I decided earlier this week to sell my riding mower. I have a small yard, and I could push mow the yard about as fast as I can use my rider, not to mention pushing is quieter and uses less gas.
I got enough for it to be able to pay off my DXT (I don't owe much and really want to start shooting since season starts in less than 5 mos.), so I plan on picking it up tomorrow if all goes well. I'm trying to decide if I should go pick it up after turkey hunting, or go instead of turkey hunting.
After that, I'm gonna order a Slingbraid and at some point talk to Michael about custom strings and maybe even pop a torqueless on it before season.
I'll post pics of it as soon as I can.

I'm thinking that's what I'll do... just with spending $400 a month on gas, I need to be careful. Hunting is 30 miles one way and bow is 30 miles the other! My boy really wants to go, so I guess I'll just do both and sell a kidney or soemthing.... seriously anyone need a kidney?

That's great that you're going to get it soon, it's a sweet shooting bow.
I feel your pain, I'm spending about $250 a month on gas just to get to work and back myself.
Anybody want to buy my old baseball card collection or some guns? I'm also willing to sell one of Stephen's kidneys, he'll wake up in a bathtub filled with ice and a little confused but he'll be just fine.

I'll probably sell Stephen's kidney cheaper than Stephen will, considering it means way more to him than it does to me. So if you want a good deal email me his address and we'll set something up.

I'm not going to make any smartass comments about this, because Stephen is my newest "friend" on AT and he deserves my respect. Plus we both owned PSE Novas before upgrading to the almighty solocams.
