Saturday Night...Chelada Style!!!
That's right my friends, another crazy night in Illinois. I'm sitting in front of the computer now that all the kids are in bed and I'm enjoying a delicioso Miller Chill....ahhhhhhh.
I saw a commercial where there is now a Bud Light Lime, anybody tried it? I can't ask any of my regular friends about this stuff because none of them are gay enough to drink fruity beer like you guys. I know you are all huge fans of Miller Chill and figured you'd jump on the BL Lime as well.

Nah, not this weekend. I try to avoid the fruity drinks anymore.
i've grown past that stage. LOL
Usually a mixed drink for me includes manhattan at an OU bar, and I end up blacking out and pissing in my girlfriends roomates shoes at 4 am. I enjoy some Gentleman Jack every now and then. Afterall, the company I work for supplies the staves for Jack Daniels.

I'm probably headed for a UVblue and lemonade tonight, and despite Quint's warnings I have my raspberry and mango beers bubbling away in the basement........
I liked miller chill, far more than any regular Miller or Bud product thus far........
Sol or Pacifico or Chill, or a Wit or hefe, are my go-tos for hot days

I was deciding between some Captain & Coke or Miller Chill, I went with the beer because I'm thinking about eating some potato chips with them.
This is all part of my training to stay in the worst shape of my life.

Depends a bit on what you're making, typically a month and a half or so:
1 Day to mash boil and cool the unfermented liquid, pitch yeast.
1 week in primary fermentation, which is the most active fermentation.
1-4 more weeks in secondary to ensure fermentation is complete (siphoning to secondary removes a lot of gunk also, it's main purpose)
1 day to bottle followed by a week or two, possibly more, to carbonate
Ideally one week to condition in bottles or more.
That's all very rough and based on ales. Heavy ales like barleywines may do well to spend a month or more in secondary and 6 months in bottles......lagers typically take 2-4 months because of the cooler ferments.
Quickest you could do would be a mild or wit or something light, force-carbed with a CO2 tank; could do that in about a week, although it would benefit from sitting another week in the keg

I'll drink dang near any beer out there. My preference is Shiner, but I'm certainly not picky.
