I'm a member of Thorny Acres up in Elsie. Our shoots are the first weekend of each month. I just hoot with my hunting rig. I;ll extend an invite to you to come up and shoot. It's $8 per person, and it's a lot of fun... plus I'd like to meet ya!
Count on it Steve. Once the weather mellows out and I get caught up on things let's do it. I'm pretty much slammed for a few weeks, I've got a few thousand trees to plant and a couple food plots to put in but then I'll be free.
Nice, good morning man.
How's everyone been doing? Seems like I keep getting a pile of work to do lately so I've been occupied

Umm, I would like to meet you as well, I thought you said you had a convention in SD coming up?
if you do, let me know, I am sure I can leave the wife & kids with her aunt, maybe have a beer, ok, 1/2 beer for me, thats all I can handle.

Woodchucks are protected????
I have a buddy that has a intense hatred of Woodchucks... he'll dang near drive off the road just to hit one with his truck!
Here they are open all year long, and we try to make use of that.

Most every farmer in my area wants woodchucks shot. Sometimes if you spot some in a field and inquire at the house about shooting them your welcomed with open arms, which in some cases has opened the door for hunting deer in the fall also.............hint hint

I see em all the time around where I live, but of course you can't drive more than 1/4 mile without seeing farm fields.
