Re: shaft
If you want more weight, tell Michael what weight you are looking for, and he will build you a CARBON arrow to match your criteria..........
BTW - Heavier arrows are "old-SChool", You don't need a heavy arrow. Oh wait, you shoot an old-school bow, never mind.

Re: shaft
Holy crap guys. You act like aluminum arrows are manufactured by Osama Bin Laden in the hills of Pakistan or something, they're not that bad. Some people will tell you they prefer them because they are heavier and more accurate than carbon arrows. (unless you bend one)
I shoot carbon arrows, but I shot aluminums for years with good results. I'm still afraid one of these carbon arrows is going to explode and end up in my hand as well.

Heck, I broke an Aluminum X7 Eclipse 2213 once. It was like a RAZOR blade!!!
The other ones I had would just get bent up a little, and then they were JUNK. To each his own, but I'd rather weight down my Carbons before going back to aluminum.

I don't think anybody is saying aluminums won't kill, but there are better alternatives out there. You can get some carbons that weigh as much as aluminums. In a couple years we'll all be flying around town in little "The Jetsons" type vehicles folks. The times are a changin.

I hope those vehicles are electric or hydrogen powered, since the price of gas will be about $20 per gallon in a few years as well.
Doesn't SuperChuck Adams still shoot aluminums?
