I clean em up and reuse em, as long as they're not damaged. Of course if I killed anything wall-worthy, I'd probably retire the arrows and mount it with the rack, I suppose...

yeah, i get yall's point, they are ready to rock again in my quiver, i shoot feathers, so how would i go about cleaning them, i think i'm going to just let them be and wipe down the shaft, but man, the BH's are still sharp after blowing completely through 2 hogs!

Re-use them!!! I just use warm water and maybe some soap, but an old toothbrush works magic on the blood!

Re: Shot/kill arrows
re use them, I dont wipe the blood off either....makes me feel tough.
If I shot a booner I would retire it though. I also did retire my FIRST bowkill arrow! I put the deer tag around it, its still got blood stains on it

It stinks, and it causes drag, plus it gets flaky and I don't want dry blood chunks flying in my eye! I like my stuff clean!
A bloody arrow doesn't make me tough.

Re: Shot/kill arrows
my first buck rolled on the arrow, so he broke it in half, I did not get a pass thru as I hit the spine.

Like the rest of you I clean em up and recycle them. I had one that really became my favorite I took 7 deer with it before it finally got destroyed
