Kill 2 birds with one stone????
Or in this case arrow. Anybody ever treid to kill to turkeys with one shot??? Seems like ALOT of the time we get at least 2 birds to come in together. I have been thinking about waiting till one is right behind the other and letting er rip. Would be cool as hell I think if it worked. Maybe I'm just being unethical, but I'm crazy like that.
Re: Kill 2 birds with one stone????
Sounds like fun to me.....
Like I said earlier in my turkey thread, if I see a beard I'm shooting and if a few birds go down then so be it.
It would be unethical to NOT try it IMO

Would you try it with a BH and pass-thru on the body or with the Gobbler Guillotine?

Either way. Would have to be sitting on the ground and have a good angle to do it with a broadhead through the body though.

I actually had to pass last year on just this scenario as I only had one ticket in the pocket and in NE they take that offense serious if you get caught. I know the ethics police and all that.

We get 2 gobblers here in New Mexico. If I manage to pull it off I'll post some pics.

Re: Kill 2 birds with one stone????
I always take the first 3 days of turkey season off. I make sure I put my vacation time in well in advance so I get the time off.
Re: Kill 2 birds with one stone????
we only get 1 here also.......
my father-in-law has turkeys hop onto his bird feeder post, shooting 2 or 3 at the same time lined up on an actual bird feeder in his backyard....damn, I'd have to sign in at AT with a new alt just to post pics of that for SEO and the rest of the funsuckers to bitch over.......

LOL. My favorite part of duckhunting and goosehunting is to actually call and decoy the birds all the way onto the water/ground. It's cool to bring them all the way in like that but I absolutely refuse to ground or waterswat them, it's legal here but I won't do it. The guys I hunt with will do it to get an extra bird and to get the flock back in the air and they always give me grief for not doing it, I guess I'm the ethics police elitist of my group. I don't have a problem with it, but I enjoy watching the birds tumble from the sky (I'm sick, twisted, etc) and just don't get any satisfaction from killing them on the water.
My dad is the worst shot in the group, so he is usually more than happy to be the one to be the designated groundwatter. Plus he's 65 (almost as old as Gobble) and doesn't move as quickly as he used to, so if he doesn't shoot first he may not get to shoot at all.

I'm actually thinking about starting a thread over there asking some of those guys why they think a bow is such a magical weapon of the gods. The way some of them romanticize about their stupid bowhunting and criticize other ways of hunting is ridiculous.
I love to bowhunt, but I'm perfectly happy running around with a gun too. (not at work, they told me I can't do that anymore. )

You're Mexican, they're probably just thrilled you don't have a knife.
