Other than that, if you've never shot that far, you'd be surprised how difficult it is. I set up a can in a field about that far away to practice a shot that I might have at a feeder almost 400 yards away. It was tough, but I was glad I shot at the can first to get an idea of what I was in for. Never had the chance at the deer after, but I was ready all the same.

Bottom line is....I wouldn't say it's wrong....but I would recommend trying it out on paper first.
