Juan, you would have to research that, but as I said, you can run both Mac OS and Windows on a Mac AT THE SAME TIME! If a Mac version wasn't available, you just load Windows and install your program. Want to run your CNC Program? boot into Windows and CNC all you want. Otherwise you boot into Mac OS and do your thing.

nope, not there, Solidworks & AP100.
but, if you can run it on Windows, no problem.

Good god, I think you all are more serious about your computers than you all are about bows. Five pages in 12 hours? As to a question back on the first page, I got a cheap HP pavilion. 15.4 inch screen, 200 gig hard drive, 2 gig memory, that's all I remember about the damn thing and the wife allready peeled the stickers off that tell you what all is in it. My other laptop can be saved, I could have had it up and running yesterday, but I have to get my brother to pull the hard drives out of it and back up them up. I really don't want to lose 200 gigs worth of family pics, hunting and fishing pics, deployment pics, not to mention all the work files I had on it.

Noel... actually it's the MacPro (the tower)... and I'd never give anyone crap for not buying one... I recently set up a ull-blown, top end Mac Pro, and by the time I was done, it was about $18K *L* But that's with an 8-core processor, 16 GB of RAM, something like 2 Terabytes of Hard Disk space...

I use a 24" 2.4 Gig Core2Duo iMac here at work with 3 GB of RAM and a 300 GB Hard Drive. Certainly not the top of the line Mac, but it gets the job done, plus the all-in-one form factor is dead sexy.
