GARBAGE...................happy?????????????????
now I'm supposed to settle for a pity-bashing?
Noel, you probably just tried a grown-up model so you hadn't pulled it back far enough......looking at your DL you might have to ask Michael what kind of speeds he can get out of the Genesis or micro-midas

I've already spoke my peace about the 82nd. It's the harshest draw I've felt of any bow, except maybe the General. It's definitely fast, but harsh. My shoulders will thank me for the GTO in 60#'s!
If you drew it at 70# yes I agree.
I shot a 60 # 101st and it was pretty bas as well, but Michael told me that the bow I shot must not have been in spec. I explained to him how harsh the draw felt. He said it shouldnt have been that bad. So who knows if it is tuned correctly it may not be that bad.
If I sell that Dren and the XT, I may look that direction...

Hey, you wanted to start this pity bash-fest. Tell you what. I talked with Michael about 1hr ago, and he was shooting his new 82nd's in the shop last night. He COULD not get a smooth draw on it, and he will attest to the fact that the draw is harsh! Fast, but harsh. That speed has to come from somewhere.
Like I said, I'll happily shoot my 60# GTO at 323fps!!!

That's a funny thing, cause I was talking to Michael last week about his little boys Mini-Genesis, and I'll let him tell you the speed gain he was able to tweak out of it at 8#'s 13" DL. It was impressive!!!

I'm getting some help on that count.............or i'd be totally screwed. In fact, if I didn't have capable friedns i'd absolutely have a solocam, and even then I wouldn't know how to tune the damn thing, I'd just be able to trust the goofs at the local shop to do a semi-decent job. I'm afraid my 82nd will go straight to lee or michael because I've met a couple folks from area shops and if it's got a problem I'm afraid it will come back to me de-tuned from them "fixing"
it......

No, you didn't strike a nerve. I don't lose my cool over the net, like some. I'm perfectly happy with my draw length and new bow choice. Besides, I KNOW I'm getting older, and 60#'s is enough for any game animal I want to pursue! I have a feeling your DL will be shorter than you think as well.

we'll see; I know I found myself pulling into the vey spongy wall on my bear set at 28, and I measured for a 29 before even with the somewhat longer release. I also have been told I have long arms in karate and way back in HS boxing I had almost the reach of a frined who was 6'2".....go figure.
