So who is ready for Turkey season????
I know I am. One of the best hunts of the year. Aint easy to get big birds to come into a call especially when they are henned up. We do most of our hunting on public land. But man, I LOVE TURKEY hunting. Can't wait. Who else is gonna go out this year??
Re: So who is ready for Turkey season????

Re: So who is ready for Turkey season????
I've been out a couple times. I've got one located on some public land. I think I'll be able to get out there Sunday to try and kill him. I'm also receiving some good reports on some private land back home. Might just try to hit both that day.

Yeah, all day.
Depends on if they roost on the fence or not.

Brad, WTH do you mean can you hunt all day? Can't everyone? I've heard a nasty rumor you can't hunt sunday's in some places.
I have five more days until turkey opens for me. I picked up a new bow just for them.

Q!! wrote:In New Mexico we can hunt all day everyday.
Same here in Oregon. I don't think I would want to live in a place were I couldn't hunt turkey after noon or hunt at all on sundays.

Re: So who is ready for Turkey season????
The place I hunt turkey's I don't have to get up early for. I usually get out there about nine or so in the morning set up, do a call set or two, kill a bird and am home by 10:30.
How many birds can you take in a year? between spring and fall season, and the bonus tag I can take four.

I picked up a 60 pound general. I'll think about setting it up after I'm done with Marks bow.

the Commander? I'm sure it is. It takes the right buyer to want a black bow with red cams in 70 pounds.
