Darla's bow off to Michael to Supertune!

Well, I shipped her Hoyt Trykon Sport to Michael on Saturday, so he should have it in the next few days. I can't wait to see what he does with this little gem. Right now it's at 26", 50ish pounds. IBO on these is 265 fps at 28.5" at 50#... Any guesses on what he'll have it doing by the time he's done? Should be awesome!!!

Not sure on the speed, but when he's done, you won't be able to get ANY MORE out of it. He's just that good! She'll be happy FO SHO!

Yeah, it's gonna be sweet, not to mention be set up correctly. I'm guessing 250 fps... Of course it's at about 50# right now, but should crank up to the mid-50s, which will help.

Is it a 50-60 or a 40-50# model? Man, if she can pull 60#'s, that thing should scream with those ram/half cams.

as long as my bow gets done before Darlas I wont mind...

I will be interested to see how the dry fire testing goes.

It's a 40-50, but maxes at about 55.... They don't make the Trykon Sport as a 60#er... Her next bow in a couple years will be a 60, since she can draw 55 right now without too much trouble.

If it's maxing out that high, it is a very good possibility, that it's NOT in spec. When Michaels done, it will be IN SPEC, and faster than the out of spec poundage. It will be a shooter FO SHO!

The bow is here! I will get to it sometime this week. As Noel said, it will be in spec when I am finished, and that doesn't mean 55# out of a 50# bow, but it will be as fast or faster than it is now.

No, it's fine... if you guys have $1200 just laying around to buy a bow, good on you. I, however, do not. So I make payments, and I'm cool with that. Just means I'll be all the more excited when I can take her home!
